March for Life Washington DC

Walk for Life

On January 21st a t 5am a group of us from the MWV along with other citizens of NH boarded a bus headed for Washington DC and the 36th annual "Walk for Life." Some 12 hours on the bus with very good people whos purpose is to make the world and especially Washington politicians aware that it is time all humans were given the dignity and respect they so urgently deserve.
It was wonderful to be in DC, there is a peaceful connection between people of color and white people. I have been to DC many times and lived out side the city for several years inthe past. I immediatly noticed a sense of hope and equality between all peoples. It was wonderful to be there. Even after having to take care of millions of people just days before the  people of DC and the city it self seemed to welcome us. I have herd there were at least 200,000 of us I only know you could never see the end of the crowd. A wonderful crowd some having spent 21 hours on a bus, mostly young people but also seasoned vetrans from all the way back to the beginning 36 years ago. The entire time I was there I wondered how a country so rich and powerful could allow genecide against the most vulnerable and innicent go on for so long. A peaceful beautiful demonstration by people who for love of there fellow american as well as all members of our world came to Washngton to beg that somethng be done to protect the future generations of the world. What an insult to all mankind when our president said he did not want to interfeer with issues that are a family matter. Abortion on demand takes the issue out of the family and puts it into the hands of the very young girls and women. Rather than rely on there birth parents to help them make decissions they are able to walk into a clinic with total strangers and be helped in the process of taking the life of there own child.

Truth be told we use sexual union to give us a feeling of life to one degree or another. The union of two souls is life giving to the adults involved but if life itself is created then we have to decide will  we kill it or keep it. With reguard to the gift of sexual union and the gratification we are all ment to have we as a race of humans of higher beings, we have completly lost our way.  Even if you don't believe there is a God at least believe in the act of reproduction. If we are not better or different than the rest of the animals on this earth we are truly the lesser of the beings as no other animals kill there off spring before they are born of just as they are born. Forget the dignity given to us by our creator, what ever sense of life and preservation the other animals have we don't have that any more. The last 50 years have put us near distincton and we don't get it. A couple of earth quakes, a world wide plague and it is over. Of course there is global warming or is it an ice age we are moving into. Take your pick which ever side gets more government funding that is the side you need to be on. The thousands of people who showed up to beg out country to preserve the life of the most innocent were all but ignored. Thirty 36 years and millions of lives lost, giving peace a chance. Peaceful demonstration is ignored so what next. In the face of so much violence against the helpless do we become violent as well?? I have no answer except that 36 years of peace have done nothing, nothing at all.
