Liquid Drips from both Legs of Medjugorje Statue

With liquid dripping from one knee, the bronze sculpture of the Risen Christ has been a mystery in Medjugorje since 2001. While the nature of the liquid is itself mysterious, the mystery as such has just increased, for these days the unknown substance flows from both legs of the sculpture.

Almost 11 years after one of the knees of the Risen Christ sculpture in Medjugorje first started to shed a tear-like liquid, even returning pilgrims are surprised by the sculpture these days: Now the watery substance comes from both legs.

“Yes, it is true. Water is coming from both legs now. The new drip is actually just above the knee, on the lower thigh. The new drip is stronger than the older one” film-maker and Queen of Peace Productions founder Sean Bloomfield reports from Medjugorje.

“With all the people in Medjugorje now, having both knees dripping sure helps in the crowd flow!” he adds on the discussion board at MedjugorjeLive where another pilgrim just back from Medjugorje likewise tells to have witnessed the substance dripping from both sculpture legs.

The sculpture has shown to be unpredictable on previous occasions as well. Several times, the dripping has stopped for extended periods of time. One such occasion in 2010 coincided with Medjugorje receiving large amounts of rain, weakening a theory that the watery substance could be rain dripping out from inside the sculpture.

On another occasion, a large group of pilgrims witnessed how the substance was suddenly red and no longer clear:

When he looked at the napkin it is reported that the napkin was full of blood. A minimum of 50 people witnessed this. Gallons of mysterious liquid have been gathered by Medjugorje pilgrims in the course of the almost 11 years when the substance has been flowing from the Risen Christ sculpture behind the outdoor altar of St. James Church

Vatican experts have been rumored to have analyzed the substance, but neither Rome nor the parish of Medjugorje have ever confirmed such analysis to have taken place.

The statue is a replica of the 277 centimeter silver sculpture “The Resurrection”, sculpted by Andrej Ajdic and presented to Pope John Paul II on the occasion of his 1996 visit to Slovenia.

Since all the works of God were completed in six days, the world must continue in its present state through six ages, that is, six thousand years.  For the great day of God is limited by a circle of a thousand years, as the prophet shows, who says “In Your sight, O Lord, a thousand years are as one day.”  And as God laboured during those six days in creating such great works, so His religion and truth must labour during these six thousand years, while wickedness prevails and bears rule.  And again, since God, having finished His works, rested on the seventh day and blessed it, at the end of the six thousandth year all wickedness must be abolished from the earth, and righteousness reign for a thousand years; and there must be tranquillity and rest from the labours which the world now has long endured.  But how that will come to pass I will explain in its order.  We have often said that lesser things and things of small importance are figures and previous shadowings forth of great things; as this day of ours, which is bounded by the rising and the setting of the sun, is a representation of that great day to which the circuit of a thousand years affixes its limits.

Then, I was continuing my little acts of adorations, of love, of blessings in the Divine Will for my Creator; and as I emitted my acts, the Divine Volition extended them everywhere and in every place where the Divine Will was present, which is such that there is not one point in which It is not present.  And my always lovable Jesus added:  “Dearest daughter of My Will, you must know that My Will knows not how to do acts by half, but complete ones, and with such fullness as to be able to say:  ‘Wherever there is My Will there is My act.’  And Our Divinity, seeing the adoration, the love of Its creature laid within Our Divine Will, finds Its prop within Its immensity, at whatever point It wants to lean.  So, We feel Our profound adoration which the creature has placed for Us in Our Will, and We lean upon it and We rest; We feel that she loves Us everywhere, and We lean within her love; and so with her praises and blessings.  So, the creature in Our Will becomes Our prop and Our rest; and there is nothing that delights Us more than finding Our rest in Our creature – symbol of the rest which We took after having created the whole Creation.”

God will accomplish the third renewal of humanity by manifesting what His Divinity did within His Humanity.

Now, it seemed that He was saying to me:  “My beloved daughter, I want to make known to you the order of my Providence.  Every course of two thousand years I have renewed the world.  In the first two thousand years I renewed it with the Flood; in the second two thousand I renewed it with My coming upon earth, in which I manifested My Humanity, from which, as though from many fissures, My Divinity shone forth.  And the good and the very Saints of the following two thousand years have lived of the fruits of My Humanity, and, in drops, they have enjoyed My Divinity.  Now we are at the turn of the third two thousand years, and there will be a third renewal.  This is the reason for the general confusion – it is nothing other than the preparation for the third renewal; and if in the second renewal I manifested what My Humanity did and suffered, and very little of what the Divinity was operating, now, in this third renewal, after the earth has been purged and the current generation destroyed for the most part, I will be even more generous with creatures, and I will accomplish the renewal by manifesting what My Divinity did within My Humanity; how my Divine Will acted with My human will; how everything remained linked within Me; how I did and redid everything, and even one thought of each creature was redone by Me and sealed with My Divine Volition.  My love wants its outpouring, and wants to make known the excesses which My Divinity operated in My Humanity for the good of creatures, which surpass by far the excesses that My Humanity operated externally.  This is also why I often speak to you about the living in My Will, which I have not manifested to anyone until now.  At the most, they have known the shadow of My Will, the grace, the sweetness that doing It contains; but to penetrate inside of It, to embrace immensity, to multiply oneself with Me and penetrate everywhere, even while being on earth, both into Heaven and into the hearts, to lay down the human ways and act with the divine ways – this is not yet known; so much so, that not to a few will it appear strange, and those who do not keep their minds open to the light of truth will not understand a thing.  But I, little by little, will make My way, manifesting now one truth, now another, of this living in My Will, so that they will end up comprehending It.

Chapter 24. Of the Renewed World.

Then that darkness will be taken away from the world with which the heaven will be overspread and darkened, and the moon will receive the brightness of the sun, nor will it be further diminished:  but the sun will become seven times brighter than it now is; and the earth will open its fruitfulness, and bring forth most abundant fruits of its own accord; the rocky mountains shall drop with honey; streams of wine shall run down, and rivers flow with milk:  in short, the world itself shall rejoice, and all nature exult, being rescued and set free from the dominion of evil and impiety, and guilt and error.  Throughout this time beasts shall not be nourished by blood, nor birds by prey; but all things shall be peaceful and tranquil.  Lions and calves shall stand together at the manger, the wolf shall not carry off the sheep, the hound shall not hunt for prey; hawks and eagles shall not injure; the infant shall play with serpents.  In short, those things shall then come to pass which the poets spoke of as being done in the reign of Saturnus.  Whose error arose from this source – that the prophets bring forward and speak of many future events as already accomplished.  For visions were brought before their eyes by the divine Spirit, and they saw these things, as it were, done and completed in their own sight.  And when fame had gradually spread abroad their predictions, since those who were uninstructed in the mysteries of religion did not know why they were spoken, they thought that all those things were already fulfilled in the ancient ages, which evidently could not be accomplished and fulfilled under the reign of a man.  But when, after the destruction of impious religions and the suppression of guilt, the earth shall be subject to God.

The reign of the Kingdom of the Divine Will – the New Era and God’s rest.

Rev 10:1-3  Then I saw an angel come down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the abyss and a heavy chain.  He seized the dragon, the ancient serpent, which is the Devil or Satan, and tied it up for a thousand years and threw it into the abyss, which he locked over it and sealed, so that it could no longer lead the nations astray until the thousand years are completed. After this, it is to be released for a short time.

CCC  1076  The Church was made manifest to the world on the day of Pentecost by the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.  The gift of the Spirit ushers in a new era in the “dispensation of the mystery” – the age of the Church, during which Christ manifests, makes present, and communicates his work of salvation through the liturgy of his Church, “until he comes.”   In this age of the Church Christ now lives and acts in and with his Church, in a new way appropriate to this new age…

Ez 36:35  “This desolate land has been made into a garden of Eden,” they shall say. “The cities that were in ruins, laid waste, and destroyed are now repeopled and fortified.”

Expectation of a new era.  The surest sign that it is near.

… Then, afterwards, He added:  “My daughter, the whole world is upside down, and everyone is awaiting changes, peace, new things.  They themselves gather to discuss about it, and are surprised at not being able to conclude anything and to come to serious decisions.  So, true peace does not arise, and everything resolves into words, but no facts.  And they hope that more conferences may serve to make serious decisions, but they wait in vain.  In the meantime, in this waiting, they are in fear, and some prepare themselves for new wars, some hope for new conquests.  But, with this, the peoples are impoverished, are stripped alive, and while they are waiting, tired of the sad present era, dark and bloody, which enwraps them, they wait and hope for a new era of peace and of light.”

“The world is exactly at the same point as when I was about to come upon earth.  All were awaiting a great event, a new era, as indeed occurred.  The same now; since the great event, the New Era in which the Will of God may be done on earth as It is in Heaven, is coming – everyone is awaiting this New Era, tired of the present one, but without knowing what this new thing, this change is about, just as they did not know it when I came upon earth.  This expectation is a sure sign that the hour is near.  But the surest sign is that I am manifesting what I want to do, and that turning to a soul, just as I turned to My Mama in descending from Heaven to earth, I communicate to Her My Will and the goods and effects It contains, to make of them a gift for the whole of humanity.”

THE THREE APPEALS OF JESUS, MARY AND LUISA

Divine Appeal
With His Father and the Holy Spirit, the Divine King appeals to His children on earth to come now and enter into the Kingdom of His Will.

My dear and beloved children,

I come into your midst with My Heart all drowned in flames of Love. I come as a Father to be among My children because I love you so very much. My Love is so great that I come to remain with you so that We may live together with one, single Will; with one, single Love… As I come to you, I bring with Me My pains, My Blood, My works, and even My very death.

Look at Me. Each drop of My Blood, each of My pains and steps, and all the things I did compete with one another because they want to give you My Divine Will. Even My death wants to give rebirth to the Life of My Will in you.

I have prepared everything for you in My Humanity; and I have prayed for and obtained graces, helps, light and strength for you to receive a Gift so Great. On My part I have done everything; so now I am waiting for you to do your part. Who would be so ungrateful as to turn Me away and not welcome the Gift I am bringing to you?

Know that My Love is so great that I will forget about your past life, your sins, all your evils; and I will bury them in the ocean of My Love to burn them all away; and then We will begin a new life together, all of My Will.

Who would have the heart to refuse Me and send Me away without accepting My visit which is so full of a Father’s Love? But, if you will welcome Me, I will remain with you as a Father in the midst of His children. Then We must be in the greatest accord and live together with one Will alone.

Oh, how much I long for this! How I moan, how I cry, even going into delirium, and weeping because I want My dearest children to gather around Me and live with My very own Will.

It has been almost six thousand years; and My Humanity has sighed so much and shed so many bitter tears because I want My children to come back and live together with Me. I want them around Me to make them holy and happy again. I weep and weep as I call them to come back to Me. Who would not be moved to compassion over My tears and My Love which goes so far as to suffocate Me, even choking Me? Among sighs and agonies of Love, I go about repeating: “My children, where are you? Why don’t you come back to your Father? Why do you go away from Me? Why do you want to wander about poor, and full of so many miseries? Your misfortunes are wounds to My Heart. I am weary of waiting for you.” And, since you do not come back to Me, I come in search of you because I can no longer contain the Love that consumes Me; and I am bringing you the great Gift of My Will. Oh, I beg you, I plead with you, be moved to compassion for My so many tears and ardent sighs!

I come to you not only as a Father but also as a Teacher among His disciples… I want you to listen to Me because I will be teaching you surprising things, lessons of Heaven, which will carry with them a Light that will never go out and a blazing Love which endures forever… My lessons will give you a divine strength, an invincible courage, a holiness which keeps growing more and more. These lessons will light the way for your steps and will guide you along the way to your Heavenly Fatherland.

I come as a King to live among His people, but not for the purpose of levying taxes and heaping burdens upon you. No, no! I come because I want your will, your miseries, your weaknesses, and all your evils. My sovereignty is really this: I want everything that distresses you and causes you to be unhappy and restless so that I can hide it within My Love and burn it all away. As the beneficent, pacific, and magnanimous King that I am, I want to exchange My Will for yours, filling you with My most tender Love, with My riches and happiness, with My peace and most pure joy.

If you will give Me your will, all will be done just as I have said; and you will make Me happy, and you will be happy too. I long for nothing else than for My Will to reign among you. Heaven and earth will be smiling at you. My Heavenly Mama will be sure to be a Mother and Queen to you. She knows the great good that the Kingdom of My Will will bring to you; and, in order to satisfy My ardent desires and to stop My weeping, and because She loves you as Her true children, She is traveling amongst the people of the nations disposing and preparing them to receive the dominion of the Kingdom of My Will. It was She who prepared the people for Me so that I could descend from Heaven to earth. And now I am entrusting to Her, and to Her Maternal Love, the task of disposing the souls of our people to receive a Gift so great.

So please listen to Me. And I beg you, My children, to read very attentively these pages that I am placing before you. If you will do this, you will feel the need to live in My Will and I will be standing right beside you when you read, touching your mind and your heart so that you will understand what you read and truly want the Gift of My Divine ‘Fiat.’

Maternal Appeal
From “The Virgin Mary in the Kingdom of the Divine Will”

The appeal of the Queen of Heaven for Her children to come into the Kingdom of the Divine Will.

Dearest daughter, I feel the irresistible need to come down from Heaven to make you My maternal visits. If you assure Me of your filial love and faithfulness, I will remain always with you in your soul, to be your teacher, model, example and most tender Mother.

I come to invite you to enter the Kingdom of your Mama – the Kingdom of the Divine Will – and I knock at the door of your heart, that you may open it to Me. You know, with My own hands I bring you this book as a gift; I offer it to you with maternal care so that, in reading it, you may learn in your turn to live from Heaven and no longer from the earth.

This book is of gold, My daughter. It will form your spiritual fortune and your happiness also on earth. In it you will find the fount of all goods: if you are weak, you will acquire strength; if you are tempted, you will achieve victory; if you have fallen into sin, you will find the compassionate and powerful hand which will raise you again. If you feel afflicted, you will find comfort; if cold, the surest way to get warm; if hungry, you will enjoy the delicious food of the Divine Will. With It you will lack nothing; you will no longer be alone, because your Mama will keep you sweet company and with all Her maternal care will take on the commitment to making you happy. I, Celestial Empress, will take care of all your needs, provided that you agree to live united with Me.

If you knew My anxiety, My ardent sighs, and also the tears I shed for My children! If you knew how I burn with desire that you listen to My lessons, all of Heaven, and learn to live from the Divine Will!

In this book you will see wonders; you will find a Mama who loves you so much as to sacrifice Her own beloved Son for you, in order to allow you to live of that very life from which She lived on earth.

Do not give Me this sorrow – do not reject Me. Accept this gift of Heaven I am bringing you; welcome My visit and My lessons. Know that I will go all over the world; I will go to each individual, to all families, to religious communities, to every nation, to all peoples, and if needed, I will go about for entire centuries until, as Queen, I have formed My people, and as Mother, My children, who may know the Divine Will and let It reign everywhere. Here is the purpose of this book. Those who will welcome it with love will be the first fortunate children to belong to the Kingdom of the Divine Fiat, and with gold characters I will write their names in My maternal heart.

Do you see, My daughter? That same infinite love of God, Who wanted to use Me in the Redemption to make the Eternal Word descend upon earth, calls Me into the field once again, entrusting to Me the difficult task, the sublime mandate to form the children of the Kingdom of His Divine Will on earth. Therefore, with maternal care I put Myself to work, preparing for you the way which will lead you to this happy Kingdom. For this purpose I will give you sublime and celestial lessons, and, finally, I will teach you special and new prayers, through which you will bind the heavens, the sun, the creation, My own life and that of My Son, and all the acts of the saints, so that in your name they may beseech the adorable Kingdom of the Divine Volition. These prayers are the most powerful because they bind the Divine Work itself. Through them God will feel disarmed and won over by the creature. Confident of this help, you will hasten the coming of His most happy Kingdom, and with Me you will obtain that the Divine Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven, according to the desire of the Divine Master.

Courage, My daughter; make Me content, and I will bless you.

Luisa’s Appeal

My sweet Jesus, I am here in Your arms to ask Your help. Ah, You know the anguish of my soul, how my heart bleeds, my great repugnance in making known all that which You have told me about Your Most Holy Volition (because of Luisa’s desire to remain anonymous)… Obedience imposes herself! You want it… And though I should be crushed, I am constrained by a Supreme Force to accomplish the sacrifice. But remember, oh my Jesus, that You Yourself have called me the Little Newborn of Your Most Holy Will. A newborn hardly knows how to stammer. Therefore, what shall I do? I shall scarcely stammer about Your Volition. You will do all the rest. Will You not, oh my Jesus?

Rather, grant that I may disappear completely; and let it be Your Volition which, with divine and indelible letters, dips the pen in that Eternal Sun, and with golden letters writes the concepts, the effects, the value, the power of the Supreme Will; and how the soul that lives in It, living as in its center, is ennobled, is divinized, deposes its natural remains, returns to its beginning and, triumphant over all its miseries, regains its original state: beautiful, pure and all ordered towards its Creator, as it came forth from His Creative Hands.

You write on this paper the long history of Your Will, Your pain in seeing Yourself driven back by creatures into the Celestial Regions. And as a sun on high, although rejected, You dart Your rays over all the human generations; You want to descend to come to reign in their midst, and therefore You send the rays of Your sighs, of Your groanings, of Your tears, of Your intense and eternal pain in seeing Yourself exiled and the union of Your Will, as it were, broken off from the will of human creatures. And therefore You are waiting for them to call You into their midst, to receive You as triumphant King, and to make You reign on earth as in Heaven.

Descend, Oh Supreme Volition! I am she who first calls You. Come to reign upon the earth! You Who created man so that he do only Your Volition – which he, ungrateful, broke by rebelling against You – come to retie anew this human will to Yourself, in order that Heaven and earth and all may be re-ordered in You!

Oh, how I would give my life so that Your Volition be known! I would take flight in Its interminable confines, to bring to every creature Its eternal kiss, Its knowledge, Its goods, Its value, Your inexpressible groans because You want to come to reign upon the earth so that by knowing You, they receive You with love, and with festivity make You reign!

Oh Holy Volition, with Your luminous rays shoot forth the arrows of Your knowledge! Make known to all that You come to us to make us happy, not with a human happiness, but Divine, to give us the lost dominion over ourselves, and that light which makes known the true Good to possess it and the true evil to flee it, that renders us stable and strong, but with a Divine strength and stability!

Open the current between the Divine Will and the human will, and paint with the brush of Your Creative Hand all those divine lineaments upon our souls, which we lost by withdrawing ourselves from It! Your Volition will paint in us that freshness which never grows old, that beauty which never fades, that light which is never overshadowed, that Grace which always grows, that Love which always burns and is never extinguished… Oh Holy Volition, make Your way; You make the way to make Yourself known… Manifest to all, Who You are and the great good that You want to give to all, so that attracted, enraptured by such a good, all become the prey of Your Will; and thus You will be able to reign freely on earth as in Heaven.

Therefore I pray You that You Yourself write all the knowledge that You have manifested to me on It; and may every word, every saying, every effect and knowledge of It be to those who read, darts and arrows, which, wounding them, make them fall at Your feet and receive You with open arms, to make You reign in their hearts.

To the so many prodigies of Your Volition, work this one as well that as they know You, may they not make You pass on; no. But may they open the doors to You, to receive You and to make You reign… The Little Newborn of Your Will asks this of You. If You have wanted the sacrifice from me, and with so much insistence, of manifesting the secrets that You have communicated to me on Your Volition; I want another from You: that as It is known, It work this prodigy: that It take Its place of triumph and reign in the hearts that know It. This alone do I ask You, oh my Jesus: I ask You nothing else; I want nothing but the requital of my sacrifice: that Your Volition be known and reign with Its full dominion.

You know, my Love, how great has been my sacrifice, my interior struggles, unto feeling myself die; but for Your love, and to obey Your representative on earth I have submitted myself to all. Therefore, I want the prodigy to be great: that as they come to know Your sayings on Your Volition, may the souls be enraptured, enchained and attracted more than by a powerful magnet and may they make that Divine Fiat reign which You, with so much Love, want to reign upon the earth.

And if You please, my Life: before these writings come to the light of day, and go through the hands of Your brothers and sisters, and mine, ah, bring Your Little Newborn of Your Will into the Celestial Fatherland. Ah, do not give me this pain: that I should be spectator when Our secrets become known by the other creatures. If You have given me the first pain, spare me the second, but always: “not my will but Yours be done.”

And now a word to all you who shall read these writings: I pray you, I supplicate you to receive with love that which Jesus wants to give you, that is, His Will. But to give you His, He wants yours, otherwise It will not be able to reign. If you only knew with how much Love my Jesus wants to give you the greatest gift that exists both in Heaven and on Earth, which is His Will!
Oh how many bitter tears He sheds, because He sees that by living with your volition, you drag the ground, sickly, impoverished… You are not capable of maintaining a good resolution. And do you know why? Because His Volition does not reign in you.

Oh, how Jesus cries and sighs over your lot… And sobbing, He prays you to make His Volition reign in you. He wants to change your fortune: from sick to healthy, from poor to rich, from weak to strong, from mutable to immutable, from slaves to kings. It is not great penances that He wants, or long prayers, nor anything else, but that His Volition reign in you, and that your will no longer have life.

For pity’s sake, listen to Him! I am ready to give my life for each one of you, to suffer whatever pain, provided that you open the doors of your soul to grant that the Volition of my Jesus reign and triumph over the human generations.

And now I invite all:

Come with me into Eden, where our origin had its beginning, where the Supreme Being created man, and making him King, gave him a Kingdom to dominate. This Kingdom was the whole universe; but his scepter, his crown, his command came from the depths of this soul, in which resided, as dominating King, the Divine Fiat, which constituted the true royalty in man. His garments were royal, more refulgent than the sun; his acts were noble, his beauty enrapturing. God loved him so much, He played with him, He called him ‘My little king and son.’ All was happiness, order and harmony.

This man, our first father, betrayed himself, he betrayed his Kingdom; and by doing his will, he embittered his Creator, Who had so exalted and loved him; and he lost his Kingdom, the Kingdom of the Divine Will in which everything had been given him. The doors of the Kingdom were closed to him and God withdrew to Himself the Kingdom given to man.

Now I must tell you a secret:

God, in withdrawing to Himself the Kingdom of the Divine Will, did not say: “I will no longer give It to man,” but He kept It on reserve, awaiting the future generations, to assail them with surprising graces, with dazzling lights such as to eclipse the human volition – which caused us to lose a Kingdom so Holy – and with such attractions of admirable and prodigious knowledge of the Divine Will, as to make us feel the necessity, the desire to put aside our volition which makes us unhappy, and hurl ourselves into the Divine Will, as our permanent Kingdom.

Therefore the Kingdom is ours; take courage! The Supreme Fiat awaits us, calls us, and presses us to take possession of it. Who would be so bold, who would be so perfidious as to not listen to It’s call, and to not accept so much happiness? Only, we must leave the miserable rags of our will, the mourning garment of our slavery into which this has cast us, to clothe ourselves as queens, and adorn ourselves with divine ornaments.

Therefore, I appeal to all; I do not believe that you will not want to listen to me… Did you know this? I am a tiny, little child, the smallest of all creatures; and bilocating myself in the Divine Volition together with Jesus, I will come as little one onto your lap, and I will knock at your hearts with moanings and tears to ask you, as a little beggar, for your rags, your mourning garments, your unhappy volition, to give it to Jesus in order that He burn all, and giving you anew His Volition, He return to you His Kingdom, His happiness, the whiteness of His royal garments.
If you only knew what the Will of God means! This encloses Heaven and earth. If we are with It, everything is ours, everything lends from us; on the contrary, if we are not with It, everything is against us; and if we have something, we are true robbers of our Creator, and we sustain ourselves by means of fraud and rapine.

Therefore, if you want to know It, read these pages. In them you will find the balsam for the wounds that the human will has cruelly inflicted on us, the new air all-divine, the Life all-celestial. You will feel Heaven in your soul; you will see horizons, new Suns, and often you will find Jesus with His Countenance bathed in tears because He wants to give you His Volition. He cries because He wants to see you happy; and seeing you unhappy, He sobs, sighs and prays for the happiness of His children; and asking you for your volition to snatch from you your unhappiness, He offers you His as the confirmation of the Gift of His Kingdom.

Therefore, I appeal to all; and I make this appeal together with Jesus, with His own tears, with His ardent sighs, with His Heart that burns, that wants to give Its Fiat. From within the Fiat we have come forth; It has given us life. It is just; it is our obligation and duty to return into It, into our dear and interminable heritage.

And in the first place, I appeal to the Highest Hierarch, to the Roman Pontiff, to His Holiness, to the representative of the Holy Church, and therefore the representative of the Kingdom of the Divine Will. At his holy feet, this little, tiny child places this Kingdom, so that he dominate It and make It known, and with his paternal and authoritative voice, call his sons to live in this Kingdom so holy.

May the Sun of the Supreme Fiat invest him and form the first Sun of the Divine Volition in Its Representative on earth; and forming Its primary Life in him who is the Head of all, It will spread Its interminable rays in all the world; and eclipsing all with Its Light, It will form one flock and one Shepherd.

The second appeal I make to all priests. Prostrate at the feet of each one, I pray, I implore them to interest themselves in knowing the Divine Will. Take your first movement, your first act from It; rather, enclose yourselves in the Fiat, and you will feel how sweet and dear Its Life is. Draw from It all your workings; you will feel a Divine strength in you, a voice that always speaks, which will say admirable things to you that you have never heard. You will feel a light that will eclipse all your evils, and eclipsing the peoples, will give you the dominion over them. How many labors you do without fruit, because the Life of the Divine Will is lacking? You have broken bread for the peoples without the leaven of the Fiat: and they therefore, in eating it, have found it hard, almost indigestible; and not feeling the Life in them, they do not submit to your teachings. Therefore, eat this bread of the Divine Fiat! Thus you will have sufficient bread to give to the peoples. Thus you will form with all, one single Life and one single Will.

The third appeal I make to all, to the entire world, for you are all my brothers and sisters and my children. Do you know why I am calling all? Because I want to give to all the Life of the Divine Will. This is more than air that we can all breathe. It is as Sun from which we can all receive the good of the light; It is as palpitation of the heart that wants to beat in all. And, as a little baby, I want, I yearn for you to take the Life of the Fiat. Oh, if you knew how many goods you would receive; you would consume your life to make It reign in all of you! This little, tiny one wants to tell you another secret that Jesus has confided to her; and I tell it to you so that you give me your will, and in exchange you will receive that of God which will make you happy in soul and in body.

Do you want to know why the earth does not produce? Why in various points of the earth the ground opens frequently with earthquakes, and buries in its bosom cities and persons? Why the wind and the water form storms and devastate all, and so many other evils that you all know? Because created things possess a Divine Will that dominates them and therefore they are powerful and dominating; they are more noble than we. We, on the contrary, are dominated by a human will, and degraded; and therefore, we are weak and impotent. If, for our fortune, we will put aside our human will and will take the Life of the Divine Volition, we too shall be strong, dominating… We will be brothers with all things created, which not only will no longer trouble us, but also will give us the dominion over them, and we shall be happy in time and in Eternity.

Are you not content? Therefore, hurry: listen to this poor little one who loves you very much; and then I shall be content when I shall be able to say that all my brothers and sisters are kings and queens, because all possess the Life of the Divine Will.

Therefore, take courage all; respond to my appeal. And the more I yearn for all to respond to me in chorus to the appeal, because it is not I alone who call you, who pray you; but united to me, my sweet Jesus calls you with tender and moving voice, and many times, even crying, He says to you: “Take for your life, My Will; come into It’s Kingdom.”

Furthermore, you must know that the first to pray to the Heavenly Father – that His Kingdom come and that His Will be done on earth as It is in Heaven – was our Lord in the ‘Our Father.’ And in transmitting His prayer to us, He appealed and prayed to all to ask that “Your Will be done on earth as It is in Heaven.” The Love of Jesus is such (for He wants to give you His Kingdom, His Fiat) that every time you recite the ‘Our Father,’ He runs to say together with you: “My Father, it is I Who ask You It for My sons; hurry!” Therefore, the first to pray is Jesus Himself; and then, you also ask for It in the ‘Our Father.’ Therefore, do you not want such a Good?

Now, I say to you one last word:

You must know that the yearnings, the sighs, the anxieties of this little child to see you all in the Kingdom of the Divine Will, to see you all happy, to make Jesus smile, are such (in seeing the yearnings, the deliriums, the tears of Jesus, Who wants to give you His Kingdom, His Fiat) that if she is not successful through her prayers and with her tears, she wants to succeed with caprices both with Jesus as well as with you.

Therefore, everyone: listen to this little, tiny one… Do not make her sigh any more! Tell me, please: “So be it, so be it; we all want the Kingdom of the Divine Will.”

AMAZING ITALIAN MYSTIC WHO SUBSISTED ON HOST FOR 60 YEARS DISPLAYED BAFFLING PHENOMENA

The reputed Italian mystic Luisa Piccarreta has been drawing increased attention of late, with a push to make her a saint amid lingering attempts to discern her unusual and often extraordinary life.

Luisa, who died at the age of 82 in 1947 and is being considered for beatification, was a contemporary of St. Padre Pio and in fact her home was a town called Corato near the monastery at San Giovanni Rotundo where Pio lived. As explained by Frank Rega in an engaging, well-written new book, Life of the Mystic Luisa Piccarreta (Journeys in the Divine Will: the Early Years), Luisa first experienced alleged inner locutions of Jesus by the time of her First Holy Communion.

In subsequent years, the communications, writes Rega, became “full-blown supernatural phenomena,” including the invisible stigmata (pains of Crucifixion, but without outward signs) and supernatural knowledge. What Luisa is known best for is the fact that she reputedly subsisted on the Communion Host alone for more than six decades –  unable to keep down normal food as she lived a life of “humility, suffering, and obedience.” She was confined to her room and often bed for most of those incredible years.

“The uniqueness of Luisa was evidenced by her nightly mystical encounters with the Lord, His mother, souls in purgatory, angels, saints, and even the Trinity itself,” writes Rega. “During these times, while remaining in bed, her body would become completely rigid and immoveable, as if it were petrified. It was necessary for a priest to visit her home every morning, and after receiving the priest, she returned to a normal state. With the permission of Pope Leo XIII, renewed later by Pope St. Pius X, Mass was allowed to be offered in her bedroom daily.”

There was a “mystical marriage to Jesus. There was an embracing of the Cross. And there were Luisa’s writings — volumes of these: two small texts entitled the Life of the Blessed Virgin and Hours of the Passion, personal letters, and 36 diary manuscripts on she received mystically and in prayer, much of it to do with living in the “Divine Will” of God.

The miraculous was so prevalent around Luisa and her reputation for obedience and sanctity so widespread that when she died, hundreds swarmed around her casket as it was transported down the streets — her corpse remaining in a sitting position.

It was during her nightly experiences that she said Jesus instructed her on the Divine Will, which has sparked books, apostolates, and organizations both inside Italy and abroad, including the United States, some of which have been involved in controversy for interpretations of her writings that approached heresy. Her gifts came with persecution. On occasion, “evil influences” were imputed to both her mystical experiences and writings.

“In 1917 a new archbishop of Trani, with jurisdiction over Corato, was appointed, Archbishop Regime,” notes Rega. “Apparently influenced by some jealous local clergy who were hostile to Luisa, he was unimpressed by Luisa’s reputation for sanctity. Consequently, he determined to sign a decree preventing priests from visiting her room and saying Mass there.” It was at this point, says Rega, that the incredible occurred. “As his hand approached the paper to sign it, his arm and part of his body were at once paralyzed. Immediately realizing his mistake, he asked to be taken to Luisa’s home. Even before he arrived, Luisa asked a companion who was present to open the door, because the bishop was coming. “Supported by  two priests, he entered her house for the first time. As soon as she saw him, Luisa asked Archbishop Regime for his blessing. At that moment he was able to raise his arm and bless her as if nothing happened. He was instantly cured!”

While a number of her early volumes were reviewed and published a diocesan confessor who would later become a saint — Annibale de Francia (right) — three of Luisa’s notebooks, which had been annotated and edited by another person (and may have included misinterpretation, faulty translation, and even “contradictions of the Magisterium”), were placed of the Vatican’s Index of Forbidden books, and the remainder of her works sequestered until 1994, when Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger (now Benedict XVI) removed them and the process for her beatification began.

On October 29, 2005, Archbishop Giovan Battista Pichierri concluded the Diocesan phase for the Cause, which has now been to the Vatican’s Congregation for the Causes of the Saints for the Roman phase of the beatification process. Much of what she wrote is under strict control. The archdiocese has allowed some small publishers to exhaust their stocks of the first two books (Life of the Blessed Virgin and Hours of the Passion), but has stated that in the future the archdiocese alone will produce the authorized translations of her writings. “The Postulation is not now granting, or encouraging, publication and promotion of the writings (except as noted above), so as not to create obstacles to the Cause,” notes a website. The first 19 volumes of her diaries bear an imprimatur.

“These original handwritten manuscripts remained secreted in the exclusive possession of the Vatican until 1996, when they were allowed to be photocopied by the diocesan tribunal,” Rega explains. “The only volumes that had ever been in print were the first nineteen books, and volumes 35 and 36. For a period of almost sixty years, volumes twenty through 34 had never been read except by her confessors and perhaps some privileged acquaintances of Luisa, although some parts of volume twenty had made it to print.”

When her writings were suppressed, Luisa responded, he notes, with “complete submission.”

As the years progressed, says Rega, Luisa was granted deeper insights into Divine Will, which came in three great phases of “Creation, Redemption, and Sanctification.”

Her sufferings, meanwhile, were offered for purgatorial souls, according to Saint Annibale, who wrote that her tears had mitigated a good many of the Divine chastisements described or foretold in her diaries.

Although some were problematic, Luisa’s writings were such that when St. Annibale took a copy of her book The Hours of the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ to Pius X, during a private meeting, the Holy Father stopped Annibale from reading after a few pages, “saying that Saint Annibale should not be reading it while standing, but while on his knees,” since it was Jesus Who was speaking.

At the end of the 1920s Luisa went to live in the convent of an orphanage. She died on March 4, 1947, after battling pneumonia. “Although rigor mortis did not set in even after four days, no one was able to straighten out her body. It seemed as if she were still alive, and it was possible to lift her eyelids to reveal eyes that still shined. A commission of doctors had to be summoned to ascertain that she had really died and was not in her mystical state.”

Catatonic states are sometimes reported in reputed mystical events of both holy and deceptive kinds and must be discerned carefully. Seers in Kibeho, Rwanda, also experienced a comatose-like state in which they allegedly experienced Heaven, although only on a few occasions. A special coffin was built to accommodate Luisa in a sitting position!

The entire town turned out for her funeral, along with forty priests.

To this day, the Church encourages faithful to recognize Luisa as a “servant of God and a “gift” from Heaven without going to her writing, except her biographical material. Before her cause advances, the writings are being examined for “theological difficulties.” What is in the diaries remains under the strict control of the archdiocese, which has warned that it will take legal action if its ownership and control are violated, leaving us to ponder the mysteries, doubts, and wonders that may be therein.

Why Iran’s Top Leaders Believe That the End of Days Has Come

Why would Iran authorize a major terrorist operation on American soil? Skeptics say the much-discussed “foiled” Iranian plot makes no sense. We will know soon enough if the Feds have sufficient evidence related to this specific plot. But Iranian leaders may, in fact, have a motive to accelerate direct attacks on the U.S.: Shia Islamic eschatology, or “End Times” theology.

Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad are convinced that the End of Days has come. They believe the Shia messiah known as the “Twelfth Imam” or the “Mahdi” will appear soon to establish a global Islamic kingdom known as the caliphate.

What’s more, they believe the way to hasten the coming of the Twelfth Imam is to annihilate Israel (which they call the “Little Satan”), and the United States (which they call the “Great Satan”). We should not, therefore, be surprised that Iran is probing for weaknesses in American intelligence and homeland security.

Khamenei told Iranians in July 2010 that he personally met with the Twelfth Imam. He also claimed to be the personal representative of the Mahdi on earth, and said all Muslims must “obey him.” Meanwhile, Western intelligence agencies say he continues to work with Ahmadinejad and the Iranian military to develop nuclear warheads and the ballistic missiles to deliver them.

Much of the media has focused on Iran’s threats to wipe Israel “off the map.” But journalists have generally ignored the fact that the Iranian regime is equally determined to destroy the United States.

On October 26, 2005, for example, Ahmadinejad said, “God willing, with the force of God behind it, we shall soon experience a world without the United States and Zionism.”

On June 2, 2008, Ahmadinejad said, “Today, the time for the fall of the satanic power of the United States has come, and the countdown to the annihilation of the emperor of power and wealth has started.”

Iran’s leaders actually believe that the destruction of the U.S. is foreordained, just as the Soviet Union’s implosion was predetermined. They see U.S. economic weakness as a sign that the end of America is near.

Other signs include President Obama’s political weakness in the polls and his unwillingness to use force against Iran even after the Iranian murder of Americans in Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon over the years.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sees the gravity of the situation. “The Obama presidency has two great missions: fixing the economy, and preventing Iran from gaining nuclear weapons,” he told The Atlantic magazine in March 2009. “You don’t want a messianic apocalyptic cult controlling atomic bombs,” Netanyahu said of the Iranian leadership. “When the wide-eyed believer gets hold of the reins of power and the weapons of mass death, then the entire world should start worrying, and that is what is happening in Iran.”’

Unfortunately, Netanyahu hasn’t seen the Obama administration strengthen the American economy or take decisive measures to stop Iran from getting the Bomb, and he is getting anxious. “The international community must stop Iran before it’s too late,” Netanyahu warned in his United Nations speech last month. “If Iran is not stopped, we will all face the specter of nuclear terrorism, and the Arab Spring could soon become an Iranian winter….The world around Israel is definitely becoming more dangerous.”

To truly understand how just how dangerous Iran’s regime really is, American leaders need to better understand Shia eschatology.

The Twelfth Imam was a real, flesh-and-blood person who, like the eleven Shia leaders who went before him, was an Arab male, a direct descendent of the founder of Islam, and was thought to have been divinely chosen to be the spiritual guide and ultimate human authority of the Muslim people. His actual name was Muhammad Ibn Hasan Ibn Ali, and it is generally believed by Shias that he was born in Samarra, Iraq, in AD 868.

At a very young age, however, Ali vanished from society. Some say he was four years old, while others say five and some say six. Some believe he fell into a well in Samarra but his body was never recovered. Others believe the Mahdi’s mother placed him in the well to prevent evil rulers from capturing him and killing him, and that little Ali subsequently became supernaturally invisible. This is where the term “Hidden Imam” is derived, as Shias believe that Ali is not dead but has simply been hidden from the sight of mankind – Shias refer to this as “occultation” – until the End of Days, when Allah will reveal him once again.

Shias believe the Mahdi will return in the last days to establish righteousness, justice, and peace. When he comes, they say, the Mahdi will bring Jesus with him. Jesus will be a Muslim and will serve as his deputy, not as King of kings and Lord of lords as the Bible teaches, and he will force non-Muslims to choose between following the Mahdi or death.

By most accounts, Shia scholars believe the Mahdi will first appear in Mecca and conquer the Middle East, then establish the headquarters of his global Islamic government—or caliphate—in Iraq. But there is not universal agreement. Some believe he will emerge from the well at the Jamkaran Mosque in Iran and then travel to Mecca and Iraq. Some say that he will conquer Jerusalem before establishing his caliphate in Iraq. Others believe Jerusalem must be conquered as a prerequisite to his return.

None of this is actually written in the Kuran, and Sunnis reject this eschatology.

But one thing that is fairly well agreed upon among devout “Twelvers” is that the Mahdi will end apostasy and purify corruption within Islam. He is expected to conquer the Arabian Peninsula, Jordan, Syria, “Palestine,” Egypt and North Africa, and eventually the entire world. During this time, he and Jesus will kill between 60 and 80 percent of the world’s population, specifically those who refuse to convert to Islam.

Ayatollah Ibrahim Amini, a professor at the Religious Learning Centre in Qom, wrote a noteworthy book entitled, Al-Imam al-Mahdi, the Just Leader of Humanity, describing the connection between Shia eschatology and Iranian foreign policy. “Those who persist in their disbelief and wickedness shall be killed by the soldiers of the Mahdi,” wrote Amini. “The only victorious government in the entire world will be that of Islam, and people will devotedly endeavor to protect it. Islam will be the religion of everyone, and will enter all the nations of the world. . . .The Mahdi will offer the religion of Islam to the Jews and the Christians; if they accept it they will be spared, otherwise they will be killed. . . . It seems unlikely that this catastrophe can be avoided. . . . Warfare and bloodshed [are] inevitable. . . The Imam of the Age and his supporters will overcome the forces of disbelief and godless materialism by undertaking jihad.”

In light of such End Times theology, we shouldn’t be surprised that the Iranian regime is taking a more aggressive posture towards the U.S. and Israel. Instead, we should be taking decisive measures to prevent Iran from blind-siding us in the not-too-distant future with a nuclear terrorist attack or even an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack.

Unfortunately, most of Washington and the world’s leadership is asleep to the prospect of this gathering storm. It is time to wake up, before it’s too late.

No use being Pollyanna about it. You can see the rudeness around you — a sign itself. Everywhere: “haunted” houses. Zombies competing with witches (in Salem, of course). A heavy-metal band, denounced by a priest as “satanic,” calls itself “Gregorian” (after the Catholic monastic chant). We live in times that are dark.

But the Blessed Mother has promised protection. “I am with you and I will remain with you,” she allegedly said recently at the reputed site of Medjugorje in Bosnia-Hercegovina — currently under intense Vatican study (with seers being called before a commission).

Matters, however, are serious. Mankind refuses to conform and in fact hardens itself against warnings. There are constant natural disasters. This week, the sky turned eerie, frightening red from a massive dust storm at an old site of alleged apparitions, in Lubbock, Texas. There is talk of America’s great decline. “Everything around you is passing and everything is falling apart, only the glory of God remains,” is another recent recent message from Medjugorje. “Therefore, renounce everything that distances you from the Lord. Adore him alone, because He is the only true God.”

It turns out that these apparitions were foreseen a year before they occurred by a Muslim Sufi, who also said the Church would be faced with a monumental task in authorizing the apparition, in the face of much skepticism.

“During the period when Mary suffers rejection, earthquakes the like of which have never been seen before will occur,” the mystic, Hasan Shushud, had said. “Storms more violent than ever. Thunderstorms. Flooding. Fatal, contagious diseases. And egoism, materialism, and violence will pervert societies. You will see that Mary will suffer, wait, hope and continue to call for a long time, as she is inviting to the way of peace. During this period Satan will get the opportunity for his plans of godlessness, chaos, suffering, death.”

This was a Muslim in 1980. The story was unearthed by Danish reporter Jakob Marschner.

And we hear this elsewhere, especially from a general Christian intercessory site where a woman in Texas named Glynda Lomax who asserts to hear from the Lord on October 9, 2011, quoted Him as saying, “They who know Me shall not lack even in the midst of complete disaster. I shall provide for you all miraculously. You and many of My children underestimate the lengths I will go to take care of you during this time.”

“The happy days of America will become bygones, never to return again. So will it be for every nation that forgets Me and turns from My righteous ways to their own ways, and to wickedness” (October 2, 2011).

“The enemy of your souls lurks in the darkness, in crevices and cracks in your lives — places where you have not yet allowed Me to shine My light and cleanse you. These will be the cracks he slips through to destroy you in months to come if you do not lay down your sins and turn to Me with repentant hearts. Partial repentance is not enough — I require an upright heart of you, not a heart of wicked schemes. You cannot serve Me and the enemy of your souls; you must choose. The time quickly approaches when there will be no more time to choose; you must choose now if you are to be safe.

“Plans are being made behind the scenes that will lead to destruction. Many lives shall be lost. The enemy seeks to sift you, and He shall be allowed to sift some of you that you may come up higher with Me. He will be allowed to attack many of you because you will read this and refuse still to give up your sinful ways.

There is plenty of Scriptural backing. Psalm 9:17 tells us that “the wicked shall be turned into hell, and the nations that forget God.”

We hear the same from others — including the traditional Catholic political commentator Patrick Buchanan, a Latin Mass-goer and former presidential adviser who has just released a major book, Suicide of a Superpower, about America’s decline into a far lower stature.

“As the faith that gave birth to the West is dying in the West, peoples of European descent from the steppes of Russia to the coast of California have begun to die out, as the Third World treks north to claim the estate,” he writes.

“The last decade provided corroborating if not conclusive proof that we are in the Indian Summer of our civilization.”

Will our nation survive as a superpower until 2025, a date others have foreseen for a culmination, or start, of major events, he wonders?

His book coincides with one by bestselling author Michael Lewis, a former bond trader whose new book is entitled, “Boomerang: Travels in the New Third World” — about “the world falling apart,” as he put it in an interview. After visiting Iceland, which had the most spectacular banking bust, and Ireland, then Greece, Lewis “finally, and harrowingly, ends his journey back in the U.S., warning that Americans have little reason to feel safe from the danger. Instead, they are simply last in line.”

Civil unrest. Occupiers. The threat of national bankruptcies (however much they are temporarily averted).

As a reviewer in the Washington Times noted (getting back to that other book): “Mr. Buchanan argues that our leaders have embraced the ‘New World Order.’ Unlimited immigration, free trade, open borders, strident multiculturalism, globalism, a cradle-to-grave welfare state, neo-pagan morality, massive deficit spending and democratic imperialism — together they have triggered the moral, economic and spiritual disintegration of America.”

It all fits spectacularly close to a prophecy that former atheist professor (now Protestant minister) Dr. Howard Storm claims he was told by angels during a famous (Today Show, 20/20) near-death experience: that because it has failed to live up to God’s Plan for it, America will be turned into a third-world nation where people will riot and kill each other over a “cup of gasoline,” to use his phraseology.

We last saw Howard when we appeared with him in New Orleans at a retreat that was opened and blessed by recently deceased Archbishop Philip Hannan (who famously gave the eulogy for John F. Kennedy, brother Bobby, and later Jackie, all personal friends). Archbishop Hannan — New Orleans’ most famous bishop,  — long has supported various private revelation, especially Dr. Storm (a video about whom Archbishop Hannan’s group produced) and Medjugorje. He told Spirit Daily years ago that disasters like “Katrina” — which, stranded for days, he survived — have been sent by God as warnings or chastisements.

And here we listen (for discernment) to Glynda quoting the Lord as telling her:

“You justify your sin in your minds and think it does not matter, but truly I tell you, you shall answer to Me for every sin of which you do not honestly repent before Me.

“This year you shall feel My Hand of judgment upon you for your disobedience. This year will be a year of great change for My people. My people will either turn to Me or from Me as adversity increases in the earth. Some of you are ready for what is coming, most are not. Most of you abide in the world and visit Me. I desire you do the reverse. In what is coming, the world cannot save you.”

These words were given her as Glynda viewed scenes on the news like the recent Texas wildfires.

“My children, you do not know the greatness of the hour in which you live.

“What you are feeling is grief over all My judgments that are now coming to the earth.

“Tell My people to position themselves for battle. Tell them to get ready to fight the enemy of their souls like never before.”

“In the times that are coming there will be no room for sin in your lives. How can you serve two masters who are at war with each other?”

Yet, she points to Psalm 91, and so will we: “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust!’ For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper and from the deadly pestilence.”

Two key words here: faith and pestilence.

Those who have submitted to messages of preparation and refinement and “have passed the test” will be greatly rewarded — even in the commotion that approaches.

There is a sifting. Have you noticed how strange many folks are acting? Great agitation in the spirit. We are seeing who is what. We are secure if we are not worldly — and that means being careful not to let worldly endeavors morph into spiritual ones (beware of idolizing those who have “made it” in the world).

As 1 John 2:15-17 says, “Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.” Selah!

Glynda cites that. As the Lord told her: prepare to fight the enemy of our souls as never before, to fight for the purity of our hearts, that the Lord may exalt us higher and use us in an even greater way. Selah!

And remember, as she quotes on her blog, “Yes, there will be disasters. Yes, there will be hardship [at this point I saw in the spirit a group of many people covered in what appeared to be a wall or wing of feathers] but My Glory shall outshine it all.”

HOLY WATER AND BLESSINGS ARE ESPECIALLY CRUCIAL AT DOCTOR’S OFFICES AND HOSPITALS

It is always a good idea to use sacramentals when visiting a doctor and certainly in the hospital.

Medals. The Crucifix (especially). Holy Water.

For many years now there have been accounts — particularly from nurses (but also regular laity and priests) — about the spiritual dynamics at our health care centers.

People of all sorts die in hospitals and according to some testimonies souls can wander where they have parted from the body — when there has not been adequate prayer and if the person is not inclined to Jesus. There are souls that are earthbound or “purgatorial.” St. Padre Pio spoke of seeing them. So did other saints. If there is an overpowering materialism and profit motive behind the health service (as so often occurs) — or immorality among personnel, not to mention morning-after abortion pills or other illicit practices — darkness from those may also be there. It is said that spirits are attracted to anxiety. They can affect a doctor’s judgment. They can also exacerbate a condition.

Thus is it important to invoke the angels and saints, bring the Eucharist to the infirm, pray for the deceased (sometimes just a few prayers set them free), and spiritually cleanse everywhere we go (casting darkness out). When we do, souls find peace, dark ones scatter, and as one woman saw in a vision, a bubble of protection forms like a glass dome around us.

In fact, there is an entire nurses’ blog — 206 pages worth — filled with accounts of strange happenings in American hospitals.

“I work in an intensive-care facility and we have had numerous reports from patients that they have seen a little boy,” recalls one nurse in the blog, sponsored by one of the nation’s largest nursing organizations. “This boy comes in their rooms, turns their call lights on and off, throws things on the floor. This facility used to be an orphanage! Also there are stories of a old-fashioned nurse in the whole white dress and hat who would be seen going down the hall late at night doing her bed check and would go into someone’s room and stay there for a couple minutes if they were really sick or about to die. Well I guess one aide saw her a while back and refused to go down that hall for a week.”

“I am a director of nursing in Virginia,” wrote one more, summarizing the many reports. “I have worked in several intensive-care facilities and have noted some of the same occurrences in different buildings. I was wondering if any of you could relate to any of these as well: the children — at least half of all of my residents have seen and talk about (ghostly) children; call lights going on and off in certain rooms for no reason; residents’ voices changing and telling you things such as ‘Do not be afraid’; residents who are actively dying and turn their heads slowly to look at you with this look I cannot describe but send chills up your spine; the woman in white; vital signs machines, oxygen concentrators not working in an end-of-life or acute situation; residents seeing ‘the man’ or ‘the dog.’ Any of these things could absolutely be chalked up to hallucinations or dementia — however with so many residents in different places? Or when you have a string of actively dying patients in the building — everything going wrong. I’ve been doing this for twenty  years and its always the same. Has anyone experienced any of these before or can anyone perhaps shed some light on these things for me?”

As stated, spirits seem to gravitate to particular places where the momentous has transpired and where there is transition. In a gripping account, Lois Hoshor, whose husband had a near-death experience in an Ohio hospital, described her husband encountering purgatorial souls.

It happened after a serious heart operation — during which doctors thought they had lost him. At one point, he also saw what he claimed was a demon in the form of the classic centaur, battling with a huge angel that was in the room.

“Bob was seeing some things and was getting upset that they didn’t seem to see them too,” wrote Lois in a book called The Spirit of the Soul, recounting the spirits of a young girl and man he seemed to sense. “I took his hand and he began to describe the things he was seeing. I must say he didn’t appear to be ‘talking out of his head’ but he was getting very upset and emotional about what he was seeing, mostly because we did not see it too.

“As he is gripping my hand, he said, ‘Do you see the smoke? Can’t you smell it?’ He then began to cry. This was so unlike Bob, even though we did realize that people who have gone through the kind of experience that he had just gone through tend to be very emotional.

“He then asked again if we could see what was in the room. He said that no one knows what happens in hospitals and there there were spirits all around the place. He then asked us again if we could smell the smoke as he began to cry. He said the little girl is trapped behind the wall and can’t get out. She was trapped and somebody had to help her! He then said that the young man was trapped in his car and didn’t know how to get free. There was fire involved with this car wreck as well. He saw other ‘spirits’ floating around the hospital, but he couldn’t see their faces like he could the young girl and the young man in the car wreck. He kept saying that someone had to set them free.”

These were Protestants — yet they found themselves praying for souls they came to believe were trapped or doing “purgatory.”

Peace came after prayer for the deceased. But how many die in hospitals with no sacramental anointing, with no prayer?

Of all places that need to be spiritually clean, hospitals rank near the top — for as Jesus showed time and again, spirits can cause illness.

They can also cause unnecessary terror.

Fear is never in order when there is prayer.

“I was directed by the Holy Spirit to Luke 4:18,” said Lois. “I heard in my spirit, ‘There is more to setting the captives free than you know about.’”

It may all sound strange — “superstitious” to many (see 2 Timothy 3:1-7) — but recall also Hosea 4:6, where it says God’s people are destroyed because of lack of knowledge. And particularly during the next month, remember to pray for the deceased.

Many are waiting.

In rooms where there is prayer, the accounts are the opposite: how a heavenly Presence seemed to manifest and the sick or dying saw or heard or felt deceased loved ones and angels or the Lord Himself — even see Him. Upon death, the majority of Christians find the comfort of the Holy Spirit. There is even delight. God is always there for the faithful. There is final mercy. The great danger is rejecting that mercy. Fear is useless. Faith dissolves any darkness. As for Mary: for those who pray, perhaps she is the “woman in white.”

Said another nurse: “My first cousin was a young minister visiting the bedside of a sweet, saintly woman who was terminal with lung cancer. Her bed was cranked up somewhat so she could breathe a little easier. She was in and out, pretty heavily medicated. He was at her bedside holding her hand and praying. She raises herself up, looks at the wall in front of the bed and says. ‘Oh Jesus, it’s so beautiful, so beautiful,’ lays back down, and passes. Sure made an impression on my cousin who went on to have a wonderful ministry.”

PROPHECIES OF PLANETARY CHANGES AND A ‘NEW ERA’ ARE REVISITED IN LIGHT OF ONGOING EVENTS

Signs?

When a storm is captured in eruption right over the White House, is it a political commentary, a commentary on the nation as a whole (with the International Monetary Fund predicting the decline of the U.S., domestic socioeconomic upheaval, and China ready to shed U.S. dollar reserves), or just part of the storm system?

“From 1992 to 2012, great natural disasters will happen, such as earthquakes, floods, tidal waves, and weather changes,” a woman once stated. Her name was Cassandra Musgrove and she suffered a clinical “death” during which she allegedly received this prophetic revelation (in the 1980s). “Earthquakes will strike the eastern coast of the U.S.. There will be three days of darkness from the explosion of volcanoes. Ultimately, these natural disasters will stop. Humanity will always have the Light.”

“There will be resultant disturbances in weather patterns and food supplies,” wrote a researcher in this realm long before the popular notion of climate upheaval. “The world economic system will collapse, and the possibility of nuclear war or accident is very great (respondents are not agreed on whether a nuclear catastrophe will occur). All of these events are transitional rather than ultimate, however, and they will be followed by a new era in human history, marked by brotherhood, universal love, and world peace. Though many would die, the earth will live.”

“Humanity is in the final moments before Jesus Christ returns to this earth,” claimed a woman, Angie Fenimore, who, to her surprise (she was a Protestant), found herself in purgatory, and also came back with supposed prophecy. “The earth is being prepared for this event. The war between the forces of light and the forces of darkness are growing so intense on earth, humanity is in danger of being consumed by the forces of darkness.”

We struggle to discern. It is something — that Jesus is going to show Himself — which Saint Faustina also predicted. And it was a well-known stigmatic from Germany who saw the U.S. brought to its knees by "natural disasters," while others saw a takeover by globalized forces, and all these prophecies have to be taken with a measure of salt, for rare is the specific prediction (especially if it has a time table) that has met with fulfillment.

But some of these seem to have. Many are those who have related a tumultuous coming period that coincides, at least in its initiation, with what we call the “1990 prophecy.” (Skeptics are invited to read Tower of Light about that prophecy, and compare what it foresaw with current events)

We must beware, of course, of the New Age, which infiltrates some of these visions. We note them with “earth-change” lingo. But that the earth is changing — in many ways — is apparent around us. In the Arctic, ice indeed is melting. The end of the world? Despite those who try to lump all this with more radical apocalypticism, very few have said that. Our exciting, challenging times!

Claimed a well-known psychiatrist who died and allegedly saw Jesus: “He opened a corridor through time, which showed me increasing natural disasters. There were more and more hurricanes and floods occurring over different areas of our planet. The earthquakes and volcanoes were increasing. We were becoming more and more selfish and self-righteous. Families were splitting, governments were breaking apart because people were thinking only of themselves. I saw armies marching on the United States from the south and explosives occurring over the entire world that were of a magnitude beyond my capacity to imagine. I realized if they continued, human life as we have known it could not continue to exist.”

And the night-time visions?

“I had a dream of Our Lord standing on the horizon with His hands outstretched toward us,” a woman from Buffalo named Margaret Peters wrote us. “He was wearing a white robe with a red sash. He was sad and yet loving. People did not seem to see Him or care, they just went about their business. I couldn’t believe how they ignored Him standing there. Then I felt a wave of heat shoot through me almost like when you open a hot oven door and you feel the heat. My husband, children, and I were safe as we prayed. We tried to help the people but there was nothing we could do. I had this dream in 1989 and remember it like it was yesterday. It shook me to the core.”

We certainly seem to get a certain essence from these revelations -- in fact, very probably we do, if we "have ears." As the addendum to the "1990 prophecy" said, the major event to come, however -- the climax, whenever that occurs -- "will surprise everyone who has offered a prognostication.”

SCOFFED AT BY MANY, INFLECTIONS AND ‘IMAGES’ ARE SO FREQUENT AS TO WARRANT DISCERNMENT

At the retreat this weekend in Dallas, we’ll be discussing the prophetic implications of what has been occurring in the world and not just in the way of war and weather and natural disasters.

There is also this matter of alleged manifestations. For example, in Dallas, there were reports of a Host that turned to “flesh.” Across the state, various folks have seen various images (including in a Host at a Blessed Sacrament chapel).

This has occurred elsewhere. Could they be pointing to a “high-point” event — or has mass media (particularly the internet) brought us to a place where there are unwarranted frenzies (and imaginations)?

It’s fashionable for those discounting manifestations of the “supernatural” to point at what they see as definitive proof of silliness — the many cases in which folks believe they have encountered miraculous portrayals of Mary or Jesus (or both) in all kinds of everyday circumstances and objects, some that, on the surface, seem less than dignified. The now-beaten-to-death example of this was the image on a grilled-cheese sandwich that resembled an etching a woman (who then was automatically taken to be the Blessed Mother).

Those familiar with the paranormal literature are not quite so prone to consider every claim outright ludicrous, knowing, as they do, that images from the other side have been pronounced since the very onset of photography. And whatever the case with certain such assertions, there are many instances that should grant skeptics pause. One is to the right — a photograph of a nuclear-bomb test by the French in 1969 over the Pacific island of Mururoa. It was first published in the U.S. by Newsweek and it’s not hard to see hidden “images” and ponder their significance: In the stem of the “mushroom” (where it meets the umbrella-like top) is what looks like Jesus on the Cross, while in the left umbrella part of the cloud is a formation in unusual and almost luminous white that bears a striking resemblance to the Blessed Mother — looking at the Cross, with even the veil distinguished.

That Jesus and Mary would have concerns about nuclear bombs is an easy conclusion. More difficult to fathom is the one of another nuclear explosion, with a “face” that could be taken from one angle as that of an evil force and from another perspective as Jesus (and from a third perspective, of course, as simple fortuity).

Many are the images formed by clouds — and skeptics — including those associated with an atheistic-humanist organization, the Skeptical Observer, that long has rejected any claims of the supernatural (and unfortunately is used as a source even by some Catholics) point out that some people also see cartoon characters in clouds, for the eye interprets formations in a way that is most familiar to the brain (such that the devout would tend to see Jesus and Mary).

Others look at this explanation and answer that it is those with eyes of faith who are privy to heavenly messages (“eyes to see”) to begin with.

Such was the case a few years back at Saints Peter and Paul Church in New Braunfels, Texas, where men attending a retreat claimed to see and even photograph images of Jesus. “Some saw more than others,” said the pastor there, Father Tony Pesik. “But these are good, level-headed, solid Christian people. I don’t think they’re being caught in deception or some sort of hysteria. I just see less in the way of images than they do. But I think for the men it was very profound.” Father Pesik said the case was brought to the chancellor of the diocese, who described it as a “private revelation,” with no further comment and no plans to investigate. “Is it miraculous?” asked Father Pesik. “It’s hard to tell. It’s more than tears coming out of a statue.”

The most famous manifestation was on a glass building in Clearwater, Florida — an image that fit Guadalupe in precise proportion — and was not on just one pane of glass but spanned nine (with no interruption). This the skeptics have not yet been able to address. A question here: when does condescension speak of other than healthy logic?

Here, at left, is a recent image from Louisiana. It was taken on March 5, the day an F-2 tornado hit Rayne, killing a young mother who was protecting her one-year-old son. “As you say, please use discernment, but people are in awe of what they see here. Personally, I see Christ holding out a chalice or something,” wrote Gracie Guillotte of Franklin, who didn’t take it but sent it in. “Whatever this is, it’s touching a lot of people.”

There is the key word: touched.

Such images often touch people who first experience or go to see them in a way that seems to argue for a manifestation (as opposed to pareidola). The precedents for the occurrence of miraculous images include, of course, the famous Shroud of Turin and the original Guadalupe image on a tilma in Mexico City.

Intriguing it is how so many of the formations these days resemble the Guadalupe image. Intriguing too is how many of them occur in Texas.

Is that simply because Our Lady of Guadalupe is so basic and simple (and thus easy to project onto various stains); because she is so well-known (especially in America’s West and South); or because she is the patron of the U.S. — and comes to a country that sorely needs to regain contact with her and her Son Jesus?

There are images with striking detail and they are sent to us on a constant, sometimes daily basis, often from local secular news outlets. On occasion, we get opposition to those articles from those who believe it is “sensationalism” (or simple tomfoolery, undermining serious religion), and we appreciate their concerns, at the same time that we are committed to open consideration of the supernatural in all its potential forms and with all the potential implications. Call us “fools for Christ”: we’d rather look foolish than discount something that may end up having significance.

The Blessed Mother — and the Lord (see His apostles) — do not choose those who are “wise” in the eyes of the world but those who accept Him with an open heart.

That can take a step, or leap, of faith.

Are some outlandish? Yes. But we won’t point any fingers, because we may be wrong (as may be the skeptics). Might some or even many of them be another “sign” of our times — the Lord “visiting” in ways and places He usually does not, in a last-ditch attempt to draw our attention (again, through the secular media). Is there a message?

If one accepts that at least some and perhaps manyof the images may have a supernatural touch (reflections, inflections), the next question is “why?” Are they attempts to bolster faith in such a material, scientificized society? Are they a commentary on our wayward ways? And right to the point: might they be building up to what will be a much more striking manifestation of the Lord?

It is interesting to note that at a widely-known apparition the Blessed Mother once said if necessary, she would appear in “every home.”

To mystic Maria Esperanza (whose cause for sainthood is now moving forward) was given a prophecy that when He comes next time Jesus will be here, there, everywhere; visible at certain times and not the next. “He will multiply Himself,” she once told us, “to assist everyone, in their homes, because this will be a definite thing. He will come and knock on every door.”

It is precisely household objects on which manifestations — if they are true manifestations (and some are) — are frequently reported. Clouds. Trees. What about ones that seem less than dignified — pots, cakes, a shower stall, spills, tables? And what about images that can be taken as good or evil (like that second nuclear cloud) — or that contain an array of faces? “Whatever be the place I appear, and where my Son comes with me, Satan also comes,” Mary said at a credible apparition.

One day, perhaps Christ will return in a way very different than His first Coming — this time, in a series of apparitions. Are we building to anything like that? Or is the devil just having fun and games (mockery)?

Whatever the case with all the objects, events in the world and nature and in the realm of the supernormal (including occult) — as well as the simple unease folks feel — are building to a crescendo.

“I am attaching pictures [right] which were taken in the Most Merciful Heart of Jesus Perpetual Adoration Chapel of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary parish in Rochester, New Hampshire this month,” writes Sister Mary Rose Reddy, DMML, just yesterday (3/22/11, below, right]). “All were taken by the same man who is a professional photographer.  It is important to note that the stained glassed windows in the chapel are just colored glass which have no images in them.  We are parishioners of Holy Rosary and we staff St. Charles Children’s Home in Rochester. For us these images are also a confirmation of the power of the Sacred Heart of Jesus since two of our Sisters are also on the committee which is preparing the first Sacred Heart World Congress in Paray le Monial, France, from October 6 to 11, 2011.”

Who can reflexively dismiss such?

Without question, many of the forms are so vague you can interpret them in what manner you like. Others? In this framework, and to synopsize the breadth of reports, we have decided to make a list of some recent “sightings.” Discern for yourself. Keep what is good; leave the rest.

"This Devotional Prayer, Devotion to the Drops of Blood Lost by our Lord Jesus Christ on His Way to Calvary, was blessed by Pope Leo XIII in Rome April 5, 1890. It was stored in my dresser drawer and my Rosary beads (inside a vinyl pouch) was placed on top of the prayer page.

"The Rosary pouch (Rosary inside) was left unattended for about six weeks. After opening the drawer, I discovered the pouch partially stuck to the Devotional Prayer. Upon gently removing the Rosary pouch, I noticed that there was no damage done to the printing on the Devotional Prayer. There was however a slight difference in the print in the middle of the Prayer but not destroyed.

"Upon turning the Rosary Pouch over after gently removing it from the Devotional Prayer, I observed an unexplainable outline that was left from the printing on the Prayer page. If one looks at the drawing of Christ at the top of the Devotional Prayer page and compares it to the imprint on the back of the Rosary pouch; there seems to be an obscure outline that represents the image of Christ on Veronica’s Veil at the top of the Devotional Prayer page [but it is much different in size]. The name Veronica means true image.”

"I have had many such experiences while I am praying before our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. I pretty much keep these experiences to myself except for sharing them with family members and documenting them in my spiritual journal. Along with seeing the face of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, many times I receive words explaining these visions. Here are some of what I have written in my journal:

December 8, 2010 Today, on the way home from work, I stopped in the adoration chapel for a visit with our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. While I was there, I was praying for the continued conversion of myself and my entire family, in particular, those who have abandoned their faith and have stopped going to mass.  I was asking our Lord if He would even go so far as to intervene in the lives of my children, if that’s what it would take to bring them back to Him.

"Immediately after asking this favor of our Lord, I saw a vision in the Communion Host of the face of Jesus. It is hard to describe in words the majesty of this vision, but afterwards Jesus gave me an understanding of this.  The meaning of this particular vision is that our Lord was (is) 'making His Presence known' in the lives of my children. December 21, 2010: This morning again at daily Mass, when I received Jesus in Holy Communion, I saw His Face in the Host that I received. His eyes were closed in this vision. Later in the same day, I stopped by the adoration chapel for a visit with our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. As soon as I entered the chapel, the Lord began to show me visions (in the Communion Host) of several people who were wearing hats as people did in past centuries ago.  I asked the Lord who these people were, and the Lord gave me an understanding that these people were in purgatory. So, I decided to say the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and the Rosary for these individuals.  As I began to say these prayers, I saw the faces of those who were coming out of purgatory and also the face of Jesus. Upon completion of my prayers, I again saw these same people again and received these words, 'Those whom you have helped.' January 7, 2011: The Lord then spoke these words to me, 'A treasure of graces await all those who ask for them.'"
